Jimmy House

Jimmy House is a multi-sport athlete and coach specializing in sport specific strength & conditioning, mobility/flexibility, body transformations, injury prevention, powerlifting and general fitness for both beginners and professional athletes. Jimmy has also worked with dozens of children and older clients as well ranging from ages as young as 5 and as old as 73.

Jimmy is a professional wrestler who is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a Former Pro Natural Bodybuilder, a former national and world record holder in powerlifting and strict curl who has deadlifted over 800 lbs and squatted over 700 lbs.

Jimmy has been weight training since the age of 5 and started coaching his friends at the age of 15. With 24 years of weight training experience and 14 years of coaching experience both in person and online he has developed a versatile skillset that allows him to work through the various goals of each individual.

Jimmy has spent the last 2 years coaching some of the top elite level athletes including the best hybrid Jiu-Jitsu athlete in the world Nicholas Meregali, Olympic Judo Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii, 2024 Olympic Wrestler/2x D1 NCAA Champion Roman Bravo-Young, the sons of WWE Hall of Fame inductees Bill Goldberg former NFL Player, Worlds Strongest Man/Olympic Silver Medalist Mark Henry and Sting, the nephews of WWE champion Cody Rhodes, WWE Superstar Professional Wrestler Ricky Starks, as well as many more former/current D1 Athletes and World Champion BJJ Practitioners. Jimmy also trains Brigham Buhler the owner of Ways to Well, featured on famous podcasts like Joe Rogan 3 times, as well as Jillian Michaels and Tucker Carlson.

Jimmy has been featured speaking about his story and his coaching skill set on notable podcasts/youtube channels including three times on Dr Mike’s Renaissance Periodization , 7x Olympia Flex Lewis , Two Times on Mark Bell’s Power Project, CT Fletcher, Coach Eugene Teo, Bart Kwan’s Barbell Brigade, Phil Daru, Jonni Shreve and Nyle Nayga.

He has also traveled all over the country to learn from the best coaches in the industry such as Sport Science PHD and cofounder of RP Strength Dr. Mike Israetel, IFBB Pro Jared Feather, MMA coach of the year award winner Phil Daru, world renowned knee rehab guru Knees Over Toes Guy aka Ben Patrick and flexibility expert Movement by David. He applies many of the concepts he has learned from these world class coaches with his clients today.

Jimmy was voted as the 2nd best overall trainer and top male trainer in all of Austin, Texas by Austin Fit Magazine after just one year of living here since moving from Arizona where he also coached Brazilian Jiu Jitsu full time to kids and adults. Jimmy has helped hundreds of clients rehab injuries, prepare for powerlifting and BJJ competitions, improve their mobility and strength for many disciplines of combat sports and functionality through day to day life. He also loves working with people who just love to hit the gym and are looking to be the best looking and feeling version of themselves they’ve ever been.
